1. How much effort is involved in the tracking?
There is a lot of effort which goes into tracking. Multiple sources of data are brought together. There is much more done behind the scenes than people realise. Funding is the only way to keep the service going.
2. Do you work for Tesla?
No. I have no inside information from Tesla, and have never worked for them.

Patreon is a monthly subscription service.
During the time of of subscription you get access to exclusive posts, access to a community Discord channel to share information. There is a supporter level and personal Tesla tracking level.
Funds are withdrawn on signup and on the first of the month. You can cancel at any time.
The personalised tracking service provides ship, container and port information individually as your car moves through its journey to you.

5. Why did you start the tracking service?
I own a Model 3. I had a brutal 2.5 year reservation wait, and 6 week wait after the car was in Australia. Unfortunately, no updates came from Tesla. I wanted to give back to the community. The car is awesome.
